Because I’m so bad at actually maintaining my blog, I wanted to give you a few links to the blogs that I read consistently. I use Bloglines so it tells me which ones are updated. But there are the few blogs that I read every time they’re updated.
Preschoolers and Peace Kendra is a mom of 8 who, although not perfect, shares what works (and doesn’t work!) for her family. This blog has been a tremendous source of information for me. And usually if Kendra recommends a book, I know it’s going to be good!
By Sun and Candlelight Dawn’s blog is a breath of fresh air. She’s a homeschooler and her blog is such a resource for me.
The Pioneer Woman And this one is great. Fantastic pictures, great recipes, just a good laugh. And I made her make ahead mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving and they were amazing.
Baker’s Dozen: This is the blog of a woman in Washington who has a large family, 13 kids, some by adoption, some biological. She is also a homeschooler that I glean some great ideas from. And last year she spent over 60 hours at the dentist! I thought I was the only one. And best of all, she’s the one that told me about Fix Freeze Feast, my favourite cookbook!!
So, anyway, go have a look.
