This is excellent, Michele. Thanks for posting it. Those are some really good questions. I am starting to see the power-seeking more clearly with my son, and I’m not really sure how to deal with it. I need to look up some Scripture that deals with that.

Good friends may be many thousands of miles away but they think of you and pray for you even when they don’t see you around.
Good friends would be pleased to see you turn up on their doorstep without warning and then go ahead and feed you.
Praise God for friends like these, who are Gods angels here on earth.
You guys certainly qualify as good friends. we miss you heaps and thank God for FB and internet as this helps us feel connected to our Stateside friends, especially you.

Oh how I identify with your plight. There were many times when we had WWOOFers who just did not get it about how we did things like recycling, or household chores. It is so hard to be nice when your patience is tried daily, but it is the perfect opportunity to be a Christian and live out what you have publicly professed to your guests. For us the greatest blessing was when 2 of our German girls wanted to come to home group with us and began to ask more about Jesus. They gratefully received the gift of a Bible and began to read it, using their German/English dictionary. How cool is that! Keep up the good work Michelle, you are a wonderful example to your visitors and your children, and of course, to me.

Very cool- maybe you can show me sometime! I have a note to call you, but I tried with the number I had and it didn’t go through- we’re going with the original start time of 10a. I hope this doesn’t throw you. Have the kids bring their suits- we’ll run the sprinklers. I’ll make sure the backyard is 2 yr old friendly. Can’t wait to see you. We must have a playdate soon.

And we miss America! Isn’t it funny how God organises things? If it wasn’t for our connecting because of your accent and you being American we may never have met and now you are a connection with a big part of our lives, California, and through you we can feel we still belong there. That probably doesn’t make sense! We miss you and remember fondly all the fun times we had out at our farm and the awesome love you showed us everytime we saw you.
